Bury College

Trips & Adventures – 18 October 2018

We met at Victoria train station and took the tram to Bury Interchange. It was just a short walk to the college in Bury. The students on the catering course run a restaurant “The Three Seasons” which is open to the public.

We enjoyed a wonderful meal at a discounted price. The three course meal including coffee is just £7.50 per person. We enjoyed some great food in a very nice ambience. We even had the Bakewell tart which we had missed the previous week when visiting the town of Bakewell.

  1. Looks good sorry I missed it I love bakewell tart. What about Halifax do you still want to come. There is the historic Piece Hall and small industrial museum nr by and our theatre for lunch. The historic church is also worth a visit all near the Railway station so not much walking. There is a slim chance if I have notice of getting a local historian to join us. Let me know will see you next Wednesday hugs Helen xx

  2. It was an amazing Thursday afternoon out having dinner in Bury with the group from OutintheCity at The Three Season Collage Restaurant.
The three course meal was great with great friendly people from the group.
The service at the Restaurant was spot on. We just couldn’t fault it.
I for one will be returning sometime soon.
And I’d very much recommend The Three Seasons to anyone for quality and Value.
Thank you to Tony for arranging it and recommending it to us for a day out.
    Thanks
