What a fantastic story of two unremarkable men living a truly remarkable openly gay life in a South Yorkshire mining community. Their story of visibility deserves to be more widely known! This was an inspiring visit by Out in the City. I was very happy to travel to this museum and learn about Maurice and Fred’s life told by the volunteers who were clearly proud to be telling their story.
