A really educational and informative visit to the Gladstone Pottery Museum. It is a very well preserved example of one of the many similar pottery works that were once common in this area. I was shocked by the pay and conditions of the workers – especially of women and girls. Thanks to Tony Openshaw for organizing this trip.
