A picture-perfect Yorkshire village, well worthy or a visit by the Out in the City Massive from Manchester. No Amos Brierley or Mr Wilkes to serve us, nevertheless the ale was good and food was excellent, a real treat. A saunter around the village was a delight and made me ponder the prospect of living in this tiny village… thoughts which were soon dispelled when I considered what I would be losing if I moved from Manchester. Thanks, as always, to Tony Openshaw for organising the day trip… Not an easy task!
