A very educational and informative visit to the Jewish Museum. We learned a little about the long history of Jewish settlement in Manchester, gained an insight into some Jewish beliefs and were able to see the Torah scrolls in the beautiful former synagogue (which is now used for cultural events). Our hosts were very accommodating and some of us were able to enjoy traditional Jewish dishes of the Sephardic community, which were available in the attached cafe.

Many thanks to Tony Openshaw for organizing such a great visit.
