Fascinating tour of this beautiful old theatre. Never did I imagine that I’d get to go backstage of any theatre, let alone one so magnificent. Going into an orchestra pit was a real eye-opener, especially having spent years craning my neck from the outside to see what it was like. Many, many thanks for organising this trip Tony.
Another great social outing, organised by Tony Openshaw. A wonderful train journey through beautiful countryside to the Spa town of Buxton. Then lunch together in the historic town, culminating in an interesting and informative tour of the fantastic Buxton Opera House. There was plenty of camaraderie and laughter too. Thanks again for all your hard work in arranging these trips.
